Sunday Worship at 10:00 a.m.
When you come to visit we will greet you warmly. We have worship bulletins available to all, so you will be able to follow the service. If you have any questions one of our greeters or anyone sitting beside you will be happy to help!
Our Sunday services are composed of prayers, responsive readings,congregational singing, an offertory, and closing with a fellowship prayer. We try to keep the service about an hour in length, but we like to sing and laugh, so sometimes we go over 5-10 minutes
We enjoy singing and we typically have three hymns each service. We also have a "SingSpiration" time during most services when the congregation makes requests for the songs they would like to sing from a hymnal supplement--usually three. We appreciate the gifts and talents of our community and there are plenty of opportunities to sing or provide special music during our services.
On the first Sunday of each month, we celebrate communion. We strive to be inclusive to all who would like to worship with us and as such, the communion table is open to all who would like to partake. We do not discriminate by age or denomination.
Our worship reflects our understanding of God which is best expressed by the love commandments: Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength; and love your neighbor as yourself. This underlies our commitment to be welcoming and inclusive to all.
Living and teaching love in our world is an arduous task, one that can't be accomplished alone or in isolation. We believe that in community, with each other, we can share and nurture the gift of compassion and learn to live lovingly in the world. We hope you will come visit us!
